Limericks - July 08
July 2nd, 2008 by Guest Columnist
A young man thought himself quite amusing
But his opinion was of his own choosing.
He was really a prude
Who never talked lewd,
And eventually took to the boozing.
-Birdman
Oh what a pain are our Banks
Where new fees are regular pranks
They welcome our money
With synthetic honey
And give us foreclosures in thanks
-Sir Henry de Tunahuna
How incredibly Foolish these Times
Seeking more and more limerick rhymes
Do they not yet know
That the secret of dough
Is to sell margaritas with limes?
-Sir Henry de Tunahuna
A limerick is not quite a poem
But rather a brief little tome
That you can blame
On a poet lame
Whose brain has strayed far from home
-Sir Henry de Tunahuna
